New Houston MV Agusta Dealer

Metric Motorcycles' Andy Marcer is MV Agusta's newest dealership. For those who don't know him, Andy has a full service shop to include full diagnostic equipment, a dyno room, machine shop, wielding, etc. You name it, he can do it or make it. He has been building racing engines and full machines for years.

Now we have more options...I have been working with Ducati San Antonio in the past and they have been good so far...but it is nice also to have something local for MV....

Houstons new Mv shop

Looks like they are just off the N.W. side of the 610 loop. Call first as it seems they prefer appointments as to walk ins.

I went to their website and it doesn't say anything about being an MV dealership. As a matter of fact, I couldn't find the word MV or Agusta on the site. The site does indicate they have Ducati factory trained technicians. I think it's great if more MV dealerships (or even more important certified service shops) open up. Can you provide us with more info related to MV?

Andy is currently doing work on my Tamburini, having recently completed work on my Bimota and another friends KTM and Bimota. He is top shelf as a mechanic and repair artist, and I highly recommend him for the quality of his work and his level of responsibility in checking things out. His current priorities probably don't lie with updates to his website.....his business is largely word of mouth. His wife is also a CMRA racer that I have competed with in the past, and they are both exotic car enthusiasts as well.

I will update upon completion of the work scheduled for my Tambo.....having a once through plus installation of factory race exhaust and chip.
You have a Tambo and live in Houston? Never seen you around. Lets go riding when the weather gets better !!!

I am good with that, but I live a bit NW of Houston. We do a lot of riding in the hill country in small groups of folks that ride together a lot and have good CV's of street riding. I will give you a PM when the weather gets a bit better. I am recovering from a rather large off 15 months ago (and Aussie couple was driving on the wrong side of the road near Independence and provided me with a surprise as I topped a hill...I suffered a shattered ankle and a grapefruit sized hematoma from having my upper calf cased by the engine in the resulting ditch oriented hood ornament avoidance manuever and low side). My recovery has been slow but generally positive and I started riding again last summer, including doing the Barber Ride Smart weekend. I hope to be in decent physical shape by the end of this summer, i.e., weight proportionate to height and muscle strength to former levels.

Congrats on your MV dealership. We welcome and appreciate your contributions to what is arguably one of the most exciting motorcycle brands in the world. Ill be stopping by when I next make my way to Houston. Best of luck on a speedy recovery. As you well know the MV.net members here are without question an eclectic, loyal and close knit group. Thanks for supporting the brand. Please don't hesitate to ask for any input you might need to help in your newest endeavor. You will undoubtedly get a great deal of feedback.

Cheers!

No, I was riding a Triumph Street Triple....I managed to throw myself between the ground and the bike and it hardly suffered a scratch.:)
