Greetings from Philly. Clean! --Not so sure about that Agip sticker... or that tire logo on your nice front fender. Reminds me of the old 1970s whacky pack stickers kids would place everywhere. 👀
I know, the stickers are a bit suspect, I literally just bought the bike. The prev owner did the decals, and had a white newer model front fender on it. I’m glad he kept the original, so I swapped it out first thing.
I’m going to service the bike this weekend, remove stickers, get to know it a bit better. I’m so lucky because the po had every shop manual you can get, tons of spares, two paddock stands.
Good idea to run it without the screen. Getting a good feel for the geometry will certainly help with your intro. Save the screen for later, for longer trips when wind/temp fatigue might affect your ride. It is a good looking bike and seems well taken care of. Don’t forget to do all fluids and check pads, rear hub bolts etc
I enjoy the light weight aspect of it in the little time I have rode it. I have a mint BMW K1200RS for long trips, this MV will fit in as my get around bike, and just fun. I have a Husky Supermoto for when I need serious wind therapy.
tip: Rizoma lower bars help with the ergonomics. Riding into the wind a tad lower down makes for a hell of a good/better ride. Using your legs and midsection more as a spring makes for a more integrated experience. The only catch is I'm not sure standard mirrors would work since I run lane splitters.
