Welcome and you will love your bike whatever the color. When you get your bike please post some pics. Forget what the others tell you, it's your money and your bike. Good luck.

Sounds like you already made your decision... blue.

It's your bike, you like the blue, it's definately more exclusive.

Congrats to you!!!

I agree, I initially wanted the blue/silver MV, but they had no more avialable in CA with the 1+1 config.. so I bought the red/silver and you know what even if it was pink/purple I still would ride it, the MV is a fantastic bike in any color! you wont be disappointed.. and welcome aboard!

Welcome.

Either way you go you'll be pleased. I picked the blue because it was different/unique and only for 05. Not sure if they will release the same scheme in the future.

A friendly reminder :stickpoke

Welcome :smoking:

As for the color, seems that you alreayd decided for the blue since that's the one you seem to prefer.
Personaly i like the red/silver better, but that's going to be your bike, so get the blue one. :)

If blue is your preference, then there's your answer. Just having an MV is different enough. I rarely ever see one on the road. I'm a new owner too, just picked mine up yesterday (red/silver) so I can imagine the anticipation your experiencing.

As far as affording mods for the bike, you could always get rid of the wife! I got a motorcycle for my wife a long time ago. It was the best trade I ever made.

Best of luck to you on the new bike.

BLUE!!! Looks more futuristic, far less common, and really accentuates the beautiful curves of that sexxxy MV! Enjoy:)

Welcome to the board and congrats on purchasing such a great bike. You'll now have to get used to the awesome power and general feeling of welbeing this bike gives you. Also it's a real head turner so you'll be receiving a lot of attention wherever you go.

As for cheap mods, the cheapest mod of all is disengaging one of the throttle return springs. You'll find the details in the FAQ section. Another mod that's essential for the UK is a rear hugger.
