Hello Guys and thank you for joining this forum.
As a new member i like to introduce myself first. My Name is Marcel, I'am from Plauen (Germany) and 47 years old. I drive bigger bikes since 1999 (since i was 15 years only 50 ccm bikes).
Actually i had a quarter of a year ago the pleasure to get a really cheap puzzle of an MV Agusta F4 1000 R - so that`s why I`am now here to find more information about this bike and get it back running well.

Best regards from germany
Marcel

Welcome to the family Marcel !!
When you say a puzzle...is it in pieces?
What year model is it?
lot's of info and helpful people here, so ask questions and share photos.
You can find workshop manuals for the bike at member Donsy's web site:

Looks like a nice project bike.
Hope you can find what you need.
I already found the most spare parts i needed (or built them by myself like the seal for the oil-pan which is no more available), only the oil pressure sensor is now missing but iam working on a solution to fix this problem (a pressure sensor for cars should arrive soon and then i only have to built an adapter to fit it on the bike)

I love a good puzzle !!! It will be easy, just get the workshop manuals and study the parts drawings.
The sump pan gasket is now available from Cometic Gaskets.
The oil pressure sensor is an automotive type You can find one that will be an exact replacement, no adapter needed.
Have fun !! MV Agustas are easy to work on.

Greetings Marcel
Welcome! Looks like a great wintertime puzzle project. Please post photos along the way. Just think, some people only enjoy 2D tabletop puzzles, but for you Marcel, it's full tilt 3D. Exciting!
