Hello all, I have a question seeking to clarify what ecu and exhaust I have? I recently purchased a 2007 F4 1000R which the dealer advertised as standard - however looking at it - I'm a bit confused. please see pics below. also has a carbon exhaust guard. Exhaust looks standard but the ecu and carbon guard throws me off a little. maybe I got lucky? btw, not started the bike yet so...

hey thanks for the replies. I have no idea what my mid pipe is so took some photos below. What would be the benefit of getting a corse ecu but keeping stock pipes or even if changing the mid pipe? don't quite understand,
hopefully pictures can tell what is what:)

Ok, what you have is standard headers and tailpipes, the midpipe (under you footrest) is an aftermarket Arrow's item which removed the Catalytic converter and possibly the Lambda sensor (this is depended on model year and Country).
The ECU would allow improved mapping for the removal of the Catalytic converter.

?

Your Kit ECU deleted the necessity of an 02 sensor

Your aftermarket mid-pipe eliminated the CAT

Now you need some slip-ons
