Hi All,
Soon to be F3 800 owner, hopefully will have one of the last of the current AU shipment red and silver next weekend.
I have a few basic questions probably some more for other Aussie owners and their experiences.

Did your bike come with a battery tender seen other people here mention them or is it for the Ago special only.
Did you get any mechanising with the bike T shirts etc.
How do you tell if the swing arm bolt recall has been done if the bike is within affected dates,
Is there a way of ID'ing the map version via the dash, should the dealer be updating it pre delivery.

Is the 16M Diagnostic software from the Maintenance and Technical Issues relevant to the F3 800, one of the main reasons I bought my previous bike (675 Daytona) was the
availability of non-oem diagnostic / tuning tools as I do all my own maintenance, ex-tool maker/ fitter

TIA

Yes. All of them do.

Good luck!! Hard to find in most places.

Your dealer will check based on VIN.

The 16M ECU is the early ECU, followed by the 5SM, followed by Eldor.

The 16M software has nothing to do with the new bikes.\

Welcome.

Re the aftermarket diagnostics, you are stuck to the texa, which is horrendously expensive, or a dealer visit to reset error messages etc.

Thanks for the replies, someone will eventually reverse engineer the diagnostic tools.

Donsy I'm in Sydney northern suburbs, checked out your web site hope you get hold of a F3 800 manual soon :)

Welcome to the forum.
Couldn't help but notice your username.
I assume that you've chosen your name to resemble the Bubba Zanetti character played by Geoff Parry in the 1979 film Mad Max?

Sorry for asking if it is your actual name....
I just love obscure cinema trivia.

I hope so too mate, been unable to get one, but if you download the 675 manual, most things are common shared between the bikes. Also there is a 800 Rivale engine model for more technical spec's, hope that helps mate.

Bit pissed off at the moment, dealership said bike was in stock when I ordered and has had my money for the last 2 1/2 weeks but still no bike, keep claiming "it will be here in a couple of days"
They obliquely blamed the importer for the delay.

Baba Zanetti is my bike forum name, was given it as a nick name 20+ years ago.

Edit: 30/7
Lot happier now, got the bike last weekend only done a few short rides*, still getting used to fly by wire throttle it's a bit weird in the initial 5% of throttle movement doesn't seem linear I'm sure I'll get used to it.
(*old road on a sunday mid morning is like a bike parade, forgot why I have avoided the place for the last 5 years)
