Hey all,
I've been lurking on this forum for a while and have found the wealth of information here extremely helpful.
I've recently picked up an '06 Brutale 750, and the last thousand miles have been both extremely fun and a little frustrating. Since I've owned the bike I've:
-Changed the Water Pump Impeller
-Installed a Muzzy Fan
-Installed Rizoma handle bars w/ bar end mirrors and Motovation bar ends
-Installed Brembo RCS Brake and Clutch Master Cylinders
-Motovation Frame, Axle and Fork Sliders
-Rizoma Action Turn signals/Tail tidy

The bike came with an Arrow Mid pipe and recently got a new ECU (due to a turn signal issue).
I was initially on the fence about the bike, but since I've set up the suspension and changed the bars I'm in love.
I live in NYC and have a great mechanic (although he's a Ducati specialist) and am approaching my 3800 mile service. I've also had some issues with my throttle and fueling. Aside from the regular twitchiness the twist grip has some non cable related slop. That combined with some "flat" spots in my rev range (specifically between 3-4k and 7-8k) can be pretty unsettling.
All signs seem to point to PC3 and Dyno, and I was just wondering if anyone knew someone good in the city? Also wondering if anyone had some insight in the the throttle issue. Maybe the cam is worn? Haven't had time to take it apart and look.
I had been thinking Ferracci, but it's cold, and I'd rather not trailer the bike down there.

My wife Jeni had a 750 Brutale for some 18k miles, like you we fitted an arrow cat bypass pipe. We subsequently fitted a PC3 and had some dyno time on it, certainly made it better. Your Ducati mechanic should know whats needed and be able to point you in the direction of a good dyno shop for a set up.

Sloppy throttle cables should be an easy sort for your mech as well, get a good service done before the dyno time

How is it an '06 and a 750. Was the engine replaced?

It is indeed a 2005, sorry for the confusion, my typing is terrible.
My mechanic's girlfriend actually bought this bike new, I'm the second owner and picked it up with 2700 miles on the clock.
Great as my Ducati specialist is, he's out of the country till March, hence me posting here. It's been too cold to ride (my cut off is 35 degrees (1.6 celsius), but I'm an opportunist and like to get out whenever I can.
These pics are pre-upgrade (I'll get some more pics when I get her back on the road), but as you can see the bike is mint.

Good onya Mate, it`s practically brand new ,mine is the same yr and it`s the best bike I`ve ever owned , great choice and happy MVing.

One last question while I'm at it.
I haven't for the life of me been able to find a service manual for this thing. I've searched the forum and the web and I've only been able to come up with a 910 manual. Are they similar enough that everything applies?

Check the maintenance thread, Donsy has posted a link to all the manuals which he has placed on his website. The 910 and 750 are very very similar.

A PCIII and dyno tune will make you fall in love with the bike all over again, it's one of two things I regret not doing sooner on my Brutale. The other was replacing the shitty footpegs for some that your feet don't constantly slip off of....

Saw Donsy's site a while ago and was able to find all I needed. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction. Now more pictures!
