Anyone got any inside gossip on what will be announced at the Milan show in November???

An interesting quote from the interview with MV posted below suggests that the current B4 model will be revised with new Eldor electronics that we see today on the F4. I wonder if this also means a completely new looking B4 as well?

What are your thoughts, as I've got a 2013 1090RR on order, but now thinking I may wait to see what surprises MV has in store for us in November...

They will always be releasing new and improved models. You could end up spiraling in a big loop if you keep wanting to wait for the next upgrade

The next model I suspect will be evolution rather than a ground up redesign.
Personally, I couldn't stand the wait. I tend to work on the basis of want it, get it.

Agree John,the 1078 is what i wanted ,and got it,if you keep on waiting for the latest design and spec'd up hardware,you will never decide on a bike,and at the end of the day do you really need all that traction control garbage and 3 different maps, etc etc, to ride a bike well ?The 1090 rr is a great bike and will look after you well.

I think this may be what MV have in mind for the 2013 Brutales ....(according to an announcement in this weeks MCN)...

I think so too! When was this interview given? Could well be they talk about the latest Milan show. There we had a new model (Rivale) and updates from the entire 4-cilinder range. They will not present evolutions while 10 monts later there would be a total new model. If you follow their policy the 2013 B4 model will last 2-3 years.

And i wouldn't be surprised that the new top Brutale in 2 years time will be a ....
3-cilinder! :D

Story was recently published in the italian press. Full story is on the ABS thread. They are talking about the future 2014 model with the new Eldor electronics package, not the 2013 for which they have just announced the ABS option.

Glad my 1078 doesnt have abs, complete waste in my oppinion on a bike like this. Sometimes less is more.:smoking:

This is a bit of a roller coaster... :conveyer:

Last week a F3 Serie Oro with only 400km and in perfect as new condition was advertised. I had a chat to my dealer about the 2013 1090RR and agreed that it's not often that a pristine Oro would pop up for sale... (hasn't even had it's A service yet).

So I’ve now decided to trade the B3 on the F3 Oro and roll the 1090RR deposit over onto the 2014 model (delivery likely this time next year).

Upside is I should have the F3 Oro in my garage by the end of next week.
