Hi, just received the Carbon Fibre Rear Hugger New Style from Emoto.
Beautiful piece, amazing weave patter. I am having a problem getting the rubber bushing(with the nut in them) into the rear swing arm holes. I think i need to use a rubber mallet to "push" them in, but in order to do that, i have to remove the rear wheel. Anyone else installed this piece themselves? Did you have to take the rear wheel off? Any other options?
BTW this is for a Brutale 910R.
Help?!
Thanx

use a little water or silicon lube and rotate it as you push it in.

I had to drill the holes in my swing arm. (Ihave the 750). I did remove the rear wheel, it makes the job easier.

thank you both for your replies.

I wasn't able to get the bushings in the holes using lube and soap with water. Just ordered the socket to remove the rear wheel nut from Pirate's Lair. Cant believe i have to remove the wheel, oh well, i'll get some more experience with the bike this way.
Any expert advise on rear wheel removal? Anything to watch out for?
Will i have to remove the exhaust cans or the rear brake caliper?

Thanx,

Rob
