Hello there fellow MVAgusta.net Brutale owners!!

I will be having my front forks repaired by a local suspension specialist... does the removal of the front wheel/forks require any special tools?

Any help is most appreciated, thank you!! :yo:

Nope. Just jack the bike up with the method of your choice and support it properly. Your favorite allen wrenches or allen sockets are all you need. Use an ACCURATE torque wrench to put it all back together. I like to ride for a few miles and go back to the shop and re-check torque settings. Make sure to pump the brakes a couple times before you ride off. ;)

My pleasure!

P.S. >>>> Long zip-ties to hold up the brake calipers and prevent strain to the hoses. Pieces of insulated wire (bits of ordinary 12 or 14 ga. stuff as for home wiring) work very well. Plenty strong, fits nicely through the bolt holes, insulation prevents damage, easy to twist and release. Keep a couple pieces handy and you're all set for the next suspension tweak or brake job.
