Hi folks,
I am from South America living in Fl USA.
Need advise on the following: I have an '01 F4 750 in my native country (South America). The bike is sitting in my garage over there, doing nothing. I am thinking on the following options:
1- if i can bring it to the US but dont know if there's any type of restrictions in terms of importing a bike and have it registered.
2- Bring it in parts, keep the bodywork and some accessories for my F4 1000 and then sell the remaining parts.
If any other options available, please help me!!! let me know.

Any help would be highly appreciated!

Thanks,

SAM

What means you are from South America living in FL ? On what basis are You living in US ? Are You a permanent resident, or do You have a business Visa, are You studying ?
Secondly, according what specifications is you F4 build ? European or US or what ever Standard, this makes a hell of a difference.
At the end are here in US ton's of restrictions and fees. Exact Informations are available from NHRSCA (if I got this right). I planned to bring my former F4 from Germany to US and skipped this. This Guys wanted a 2400 $ Import andRegistration Fee. Than I would had to bring a Statement from the Manufactuer which Parts are different to the US Version. These Parts (Headlight, left hand Armatures etc.) would have to be exchanged at a Dealership and the Bike would have to undergo an NHRSCA Inspection. I figured at that Stage that paying around 4000 $ doesn't make any Sense. Not speaking of any shipping Costs. So I sold my Bike in Germany and bought a second hand Bike in US.
