Makes a hell lot of difference
Painted my mirrors

I Carefully Removed mirror using exacto knife

Took photos so I won't forget how to reassemble them

Dismantled the whole thing so it's easier to paint

Fast forward painted already , reassemble and use sealant on inside of assembly so water and moisture won't make it's way to the lens. Used 3m double sided tape and a bit of silicone sealant to replace the mirror

Finished product

Thanks guys :) hope this helps.

Dee (DeezF3) painted her front fender white as well as her mirrors.

Seeing hers and yours I think I prefer the clear lens on the white.

Clear lenses easily made the most striking visual improvement per $ on my bike.

I wasnt so sure about the painted mirrors, but I have to admit its growing on me. Thanks for all the photos and play-by-play instructions.

Good job. Disassembly must've taken a while. They dont look designed to come apart.

Well worth the effort.

I think that's poorly designed they should've put tabs so we can access the side mirrors inside the reason why I decided to take apart and paint the mirror is because the first time I went for a Long ride my
Mirrors fell and dangled while I was on the speedway I had to stop and
Look for duct tape just to keep them from falling. Anybody had this experience ? the only way to tighten the bolt that's holding the side mirror is by removing the mirror.

Cost! The bikes are built to a price point.
