Dealer News reports the Moto GB's ( the UK's MV importer) recently appointed Massimo Granata has left his roll as General Manager to join Husqvarna to establish distributorship in the UK..

I only met Massimo once at the UK launch of the new 2010 MV models and found him to be a decent guy to talk to and I've only heard nice things said about him from the MV dealer network.

Wish him the best of luck in his new roll, and it's a shame he has left MV UK so soon.

So now I wonder who is going to take up the position of MV's UK distributors General Manager ?

Any takers out there ?

I actually think John should step forward for the role, apart form the fact that he's now riding a Ducati and a BMW, he has more goodies in his attic than Moto GB probably had in stock.
He's got my vote!!

Great idea mate and the thought did cross my mind.

However, I don't mix well with any kind of spiders, JellyFish ( Box or Irukandji), Crocs, Blue Ring Octopus, Stone Fish, snakes ( all 1 million types of them), and not forgetting my favourite… Sharks ! :ahhh:

I think it would be safer to become the MV importer in down town Caracas Venezuela or friendly Mogadishu Somalia :jsm::laughing:

Valid points you make John. But its the Drop Bears that you really have to worry about.
I too have thought about spending some quality vacation time sailing around the horn of Africa in a cargo ship fully loaded with a nuclear warheads, as it sometimes seems safer, or at least a better gamble to chance running in to Somalian pirates than hanging out in Oz.....but it's what makes us a crazy bunch.
The upside of having some insane wildlife is the "unfortunate accidents" that can happen to people you don't like, ex-wives.....etc:naughty:
The Irukandji is a great one for that......Or so I'm told:stickpoke

The place I'd really like to visit is New Zealand..

One of my mates stayed there for 12 months during his gap year in 1981 and describes the place as Mother Nature’s paradise.

Unfortunately, my Mrs doesn’t fancy visiting that part of the continent and a holiday trip there wouldn't be the same without her ( plus who would look after our Boys for 3 weeks).
