I've actually been talking to my painter about one. It'd cost $250 to $300 to paint one. So, now I have been keeping an eye out for a cheap Corsair I can snatch up...I like the Ago, but don't like the white, so I'm thinking of combining the Ago and the Corsa colors. :drummer:

The trick is, you cannot bake the paint on the helmet as it damages the insulation on the inside (insulation is not removable, it's bonded). In the factory they paint the shell before bonding the insulation to the shell. So if you do decide to go this route, they should not put the helmet in the baking room. It can only be air dried, and may be use a strong clear coat to protect it. :conveyer:

Or, you could just get a solid helmet, and buy an MV sticker

I would like one of those, just for the sake of having an "MV Agusta" helmet. But for $1500....I'll stick to either getting it custom painted for $200-300 or my idea of a $5 sticker

They don't make that Brutale jacket anymore? Damn...I need one of those.

Has anyone in the U.S. actually ordered and received any of these Arai helmets offered on the MV Agusta Corse website? Have you heard of anyone who has, either personally or through a dealer? I have been told by those attempting to order that they are, for whatever reason (?compliance issues, ?marketing issues) essentially unavailable to the U.S. market at this time.
