Here a photo of my MV 1000S in ride day/track mode.
I am not racing this I have just invested in full track gear ...just in case.

It is fibreglass body with two pack paint.
I have the standard MV seat clips and a standard seat pad.
I have the two front fairing stays, original MV
I have under fairing crash sliders mounted to frame.
I have full heat thermal stickers mounted inside fibreglass.

This means to fit the track gear it takes mere minutes.
Undo two clips that hold the seat and unclip light cable.
Undo two allen bolts on base of front fairing stay.
Undo duez fasteners.
All body work lifts right off in tact.
Take off front headlight glass. (4 clips)
Take out light fuse (my headlight has no off switch)
Replace with fibreglass body as in photo.

And bike is ready for a track day.

Best of both worlds!

Hi Minime,

I got it painted by prestige painting at Castle Hill. It sort of matches. They used a Ducati Red, so not exactly right, but good enough for the track.
There has been a number of AGO's doing the same, so you will see a few of us at the ride days.
I was wanting to go on Friday, but it looks like being wet....bugger.
