:drummer: We have just heard some more about the outsourced parts handling. The Bordi-touch is getting clear here, once again in a very positive way. Rationalisation!

From this week, parts will be shipped from the SAIMA premises in Modena, who have taken over the Aftersales Parts Handling from MV Varese. SAIMA have been doing this very successfully for years now, for automotive companies like Ducati, Ferrari, Maserati etc, but also less sexy but very strong brands like TetraPak. Through this move, we honestly believe that a lot of advantages of scale and logistical know-how will come at the disposal of MV, allowing them to bring the service level to where it should be. We know they've been treating it as the proirity it ought to be and we're really seeing the effects now. :yo:

:stickpoke Lets also hope the rationalisation can be applied to the parts pricing worldwide.

Motogb prices for F4 750 ring set 800098023 £105 $170 approx.
Valve stem seals x 16 @ 3.76 800098167 £60.16
Head gasket 8A0098679 £67.80
Base Gasket 8000a9371 £49.00

USA Pro Italia ring set F4 750 800088660 $85,96.
USA Pro italia ring set F4 800L41571 $55.12.

Rings, gaskets and seals in uk with vat, £ 716.42:wtf:

If I remember correctly a 1000R head gasket is priced less than a 750 base gasket.

Why such a disparity in pricing why do a set of rings cost twice as much in UK as US ?
I,m interested to see what the prices across europe are for the above parts anyone?

Fit like, Mc Mivvi?

The prices we quote (ex VAT mind you!) on our site are the official ones valid in the Benelux. They should correspond with Italian and French prices, give or take a small percentage for the shipping.
