recently visited some friends in Tassie and found this in the study (which opens to the lounge room). The Sport is also a rider.

They also have a number of bikes in various sheds, mostly Italian but a few British.

They had been after that bike for a very long time and saved long and hard to buy it. A dream realised, which is great to see. I was in awe when I first laid eyes on it.

Happy to hear it was the culmination of a journey of desire and monetary focus to acquisition - things are always so much more appreciated, valued & treasured when gained in that matter.

Not for me, I'm afraid. I'd likely get tired of seeing my bike were it parked indoors. It would cease to appear 'special'. Stored out of sight, I'm struck anew with that blaze of red white & blue every time I remove its cover. What a feast for the eyes it then is!
