MV Agusta dealers have a newly expanded source for add-on products with the introduction of MV Agusta Corse – an operation recently incorporated into the parent company and dedicated to developing custom esthetic and performance parts and accessories.
MV Agusta Corse is currently producing parts only for the F4 and Brutale models. Product includes items ranging from exhausts, brake components, seats, fairings, pegs and clutch parts to accessories such as helmets, stands, covers, alarms and bags. MV Agusta says the range of products offered has been increased considerably compared to what was available in the past, and says plans call for additional new product to be added monthly.
Parts labeled "MV Corse" are dedicated to esthetic and functional customization for road and sports use, and parts labeled "MVR" are targeted at a clientele seeking items for competition use.
MV Agusta has added a special section to its website,, for consumers to browse. All the offerings are to be made available through MV Agusta retailers.
In case you missed it: Enrico D'Onofrio on May 1 assumed the post of managing director of MV Agusta. He replaced Matthew S. Levatich, who was recently named president and COO of Harley-Davidson Motor Company.
D'Onofrio joined MV Agusta as corporate general director earlier this year to oversee all administrative functions including finance and human resources. Previously he held senior management positions at motorcycle maker Ducati, including CFO, and at Procter & Gamble in Europe.
Levatich, a 15-year Harley-Davidson veteran, went to MV Agusta to spearhead the restart of MV's operations following its acquisition by Harley-Davidson in August 2008.
