Hey guys, so one of my F3 mirrors came loose on me. It did not detach from the bike, but the mirror itself detached from its mounting bracket. There is a loose bolt inside the mirror that I can hear rattling around. Has anyone taken the mirror apart, aka removed the mirror glass to gain access inside to tighten this bolt back down?

Thanks for your time.

People have removed the glass to paint their mirrors. Think they use a small scraper (sold at paint hardware stores) to detach the mirror from its backing.

Seeing as your mirror is "broken" , you have nothing to lose but try.

That's what I was thinking too. There's no room to go in thru the reflector side, even with an angled socket and ratchet. grrr.

Nice job fixing it yourself! Just for information, you're going to have to use piano wire to get the glass off again. And that probably won't even work without breaking it. Glass urethane is tough stuff!
