I love my Brutale and enjoy it evertime I ride it but the mirrors are the biggest pieces of crap I have seen in 32 years of riding. The left side mirror glass fell out yesterday and went smash on the road. The right one did it a long time ago. I would think on a 18,000 bike you could put some mirrors that wouldn't break on it. Just ordered some Rizoma mirrors from Motivation. I was going to steal the mirrors off of the wife's bike but she has a Glock and she shoots pretty good.

I just got the CRG hindsight or blindsight mirrors, they're leaps and bounds better than the stock mirrors.

Couldn't agree more.
Did you read the review on the 2010 models by moto mag? Both mirrors on the Brute fell out and broke when they hit the ground. The review also went after the F4's mirrors. Fortunately, a fix exists.

I ordered the Rizmota mirrors. I didn't care for the bar end models (personal preference). I chose them because the feedback from buyers were simple; problem fixed and work perfect at all speeds.

I hope to have the same results.

I ordered the Rizoma Dynamic Universal Mirror in Black with the bar mounting kits. I really did have better things to spend my money on, though I have heard the Rizoma mirrors are very good. Couldn't be any worse than the junk MV put on the bike.

Your wife rides a bike and carries a glock...is this some kind of fantasy woman?

She rides an 07 MV Agusta Brutale 910R, drives an Infiniti G37 hardtop convertibe with the sport suspension, 6 speed, etc. and has a Glock. She is definitely a keeper.

Now you are really missing with my mind!!

Mind you, my wife does none of these things, but she is a keeper too.

Here's to our wives who let us ride!! :yo::yo:

All of the wives are keepers and we should be thankful we have them. Mine just happens to be a gear head and a horsepower junkie but she loves her shoes. She is very supportive of my obsession with motorcycles. I ride on the track a lot and she is very supportive even though the consequences could be grave if I screw up.

No More Problems

I finally got my mirrors. What a tremendous difference quality mirrors make. I installed the Rizoma mirrors (RIZBS154 Limited Naked Universal Mirror). In addition to eliminating the vibration, I also have an increased view. I can still see my elbows in the mirrors, but these are a little bit larger so I can easily see into the adjacent lanes.

One of the reasons it took so long to make this purchase was the price ($179.00 each). After the first ride, I completely forgot about that. In addition to the mirrors, I also had to get adapters to mount them to the bars (RIZBS0001 & BS730B, $12.00 & $7.00).

The mirrors have an excellent finish and are just as light as the stock mirrors. The initial installation and adjustment requires patience as there are 4 points for adjustments.

Side Note: I accidentally ordered the Prototype Naked Universal Mirrors. When I installed them, there was virtually no increase in viewing. For a moment, I thought I had made a mistake because the arm length for both the Limit Naked and Prototype Naked were the same. However, the mirror on the Limit Naked is longer and larger. If you plan on getting mirrors for your Brutale, I highly recommend the Limit Naked. By comparison to the original mirror, the Limit Naked doesn't look larger, but it makes a significant difference. Special thanks to Motovation for refunding the money for the wrong mirrors and shipping out the correct ones.

could you post up a pic of those mounted up?
There you go, Jeff. I fitted the Rizoma Limit to my 910R a few months ago. No complaints other than I had to tighten them up after the first ride. Fine since. No vibration, great visi and not a bad look.
