Pigio, try WD40 to take off the oil and then just wash the wheels with wather and a soft detergent.

That's a kind of all purpose oil spray. You can clean your wheels with it, and wax them after that.

Yep WD40 is amazing and a must have for every household never mind every bike owner. I used to cover my bike in wd40 during the winter months in the UK and still give it a once over with wd40 after cleaning it here in the south of france. :)

Try any silicone spray, most are just teriffic in cleaning and reducing static which attracts brake dust....shines well too. I use one by Silkolene

WD40 is the wonder weapon!

If you ever have stuff STUCK to stuff......... spray with WD, then detergent, then polish........ Done!

It's very good at lifting chain lube off rims. But often requires a further degreasant to lift off the WD40 residue.
