I have a magnesium headlight bucket from the Ducati 999R which has corrosion damage. Does anyone know of anyone in Australia that can repair it correctly?

Thanks

Hi.

Aircraft often use magnesium wheels.
They require periodical maintenance and repair. That's where I'd be looking - in the aeronautical industry. There will be experts on this subject at or around most major cities in each state and Sydney should be no exception.

Hope that helps.

Ainsley;
you need it dipped to remove the corrosion and then have the Alodine coating redone most platers should be able to do it
