Wife bought me a set of M4 Monoblock calipers for my '10 Brutale 990R.

Hoping the stock lines will work from the P4 calipers, but we will see. Might have to go custom lines.

Anyone else make the M4 change on their Brutales?

Well the stock lines won't work, but that was a long shot anyway.
The F3 Oro / 2013 F3 800 front brake lines might work. I did the same conversion on my F3 and went through two different hose suppliers before settling on the stock MV hoses mentioned above.

If you do investigate that, do check that they are the non-abs hoses. The F3 uses a nissin MC , not sure about your B4.

I made a thread of my conversion here on this forum, will check if I can find it.

Not sure the stock line from an F3 would fit, as I have handlebars and not clip-ons - so the length would most likely not be correct. I wonder what calipers the 1090RR has...

I did this same upgrade on my 990. I ordered the stock line for a 1090RR from forum sponsor StarTwin and voila.
M/C is a Nissin.

Ah well, too late for me for that info, but thanks for the confirmation for future owners looking to do the same upgrade.

I ordered a custom line from Core Moto, all black, with black fittings, and got myself black banjos, and a master cylinder bleeder banjo.

Super easy to bleed with the top banjo. Just use a syringe to push from the caliper to the top bleeder, or pneumatic bleeder to pull from the bottom up. Finish with the lever pump method.

I think they look great in comparison to the stock calipers (Not GOLD) and the red lettering looks good. Brake feel is probably about the same.

Looking good. Glad you got everything worked out and are back on the road.

I had the same experience between the gold 2 piece Brembo calipers and the M4 Monobloc, struggled to tell a difference between the two. Aesthetically though the monobloc calipers look much nicer.

No doubt they look way better. I also appreciate the lack of slider pins.
