Wow....Jimi rocks!:yo:

Plays a song that Clapton said was "too hard"...then plays behind his back like there is nothing to it. I like Clapton...but he definitely got owned. Jimi was one of a kind.

Eric ?

But Clapton is still alive. And still playing.
yes, Carl, sadly true.......

but he will never live down an unknown Jimi Hendrix literally blowing him

off the stage either .......as

the rest of Cream said......

and he thought ...."Killing Floor" was "hard to play" until Jimi jammed

with him LOLOL

and he has never been as polite and humble as Jimi either

Clapton used my friend Jim's studio for years until Jim got tired of

him........Jim, was Johnny Carson's engineer at NBC

Few remember, or knew, that Jimi lived in Nashville and credits his time here as instrumental (pun intended) in developing his guitar playing chops.

"Hendrix took his guitar everywhere in Nashville – on the bus, to the store, on a walk. Nashville is where he really developed his guitar playing. He said so himself: “That’s where I learned to play really…Nashville.”
