Please tell us, how does a smart person spell Pirelli? (lol).

As I type this I'm hoping you've not significantly exceeded the adhesive properties of your Parelli hoops.

Hey Col

It's all good, at least you're out there - nice scenery and a free bike wash at the end of the dirt :)

North of Brisbane?

duh..... just saw the locality map on the Contour video page

Re guideposts - there are road authority standards for guidepost spacing - found them when I was working out whether you can determine speed easily from onboard video ( I have my reasons ;-) ) Spacing varies according to a number of criteria.

Whether or not councils adhere to them might be a bit debatable as Col said.

Ha, there was an idiot on Vancouver Island who video'd his R1 splitting traffic at over 200kph, speedo and then him in the video. They tracked him down and charged him. :jerkoff:

It's all about association. Keep the scenery or the speedo or yourself, but don't mix them up :D Burden of proof.

That road is excellent compared to the one I take to get up to my inlaws farm in Costa Rica. There are 3 foot jagged boulders sticking up from the middle of the road when there aren't 2 foot deep holes. And when it rains...

that section is only about 2 klm long
the rest of the road is hairpins ,tight twisties, up ,down just like a roller coaster and all good road surface
next time I am that way I will video some of it

Col,

I'm guessing you are using the contour cam. Which one and how do you find it.

I am tossing up between the new Contour +2 and GoPro hero3 Black, just hate the helmet mounting options for the gopro
