How do you tell if the Talent Compensation is cutting in?

I've only ridden the bike a few times and am taking it easy, with the TC on level 5.

After pillioning, the Gf said that it felt like the back slid more than on the ZX6-R.

Perhaps it's just the different bike, but I figured the TC would stop rear slip?

Wildfire, any time TC connects I can feel that on my bike like a short stop to power delivery on the rear wheel and a slight kick when it connects again and the tyre catches a grip back, while at the same time you can feel something abnormal is happening at the rear as you feel it did prevent a further slippage. In other words, don't worry - you will feel it when it does turn itself on.

Or could be ice on the road.:jsm:
Thankfully all we've had over here is rain, rain and rain this year no ice yet.

I did think it was probably her, the ail on the F3 is much smaller than my previous ZX6-R.

Cheers Milan, I'm sure I will experience it at some point. Just taking it easy as I'm still in the running in period.
