Gents,

Bought a steering damper which requires me to remove the ignition switch. I'm going need a little guidance pretty please.

Assuming for a trackbike? Would you not just splice the key switch wiring and run the killswitch/start button on the bars permanent live?

For a road bike, I'd not be tempted to remove the ignition key.

Yes sir for a track bike. Can you or someone provide more details. I need to completely remove the ignition cylinder to install the steering damper. So I would follow the wire from the ignition to where it connects to the harness on the bike, disconnect and then....

Does the F3 have immobilizer in key ? Is there a easy way to get past that ?
If no immobilizer, then just look at what needs switching in the wiring diagram, I've made my own wiring harness for the F4, twice, and it's pretty easy once you decide what needs to go and what you want to keep.
