What you really want to know is how many are left. Dozens fewer than were made, I can guarantee that.

A wave of nostalgia passed over me to day as I was preparing to ship engine cases to a gentleman in New Zealand.

why nostalgia Cag? should be a wave of excitement as another F4 is being reborn and loved!!
At one time, I used to part them out. I lost the laptop with the spread sheet but if I remember correctly the number was around 50.

I still have some parts left which the Angel of Beth is selling on ebay she she can buy landscaping and plants.

Probably less than the polethora of `limited editions' they produced!
Not even close. The limited editions were produced in far fewer numbers than any of the production models. I'm not sure where the inverse perception comes from.

Interesting thought this for the future guys, all limited editions and SP models will be cherished forever, where as some of the models like lets say the EVO 3 (made for one year (2003) of which about 2000 units made) will probably end up scraped/raced/crashed as your more likely to use them than the limiteds, this could mean in decades time they may even end up less that the 300 batch runs of the specials, obviously the 'normal' F4's will not be worth the high end money but could end up less in numbers? Just a thought......
example: Ford Escort mk3's in the UK, you will easily find a mint RS or XR in the uk, but try and find a 1.3l basic model......
