guy, please, i need some help with these mirrors. the dealer here is useless and is not helping. I cant see a damn thing in them!

i can seem to tilt them forward, extend them to the side. but tilting them up is not possible which is what i need to do so i can see something.

does this mean my handlebars are not aligned correctly? any help is much appreciated.

Fadel, my mirrors are adjustable so that they are useful to me. If you take some pics of your bars and mirrors, I'll look to see if the bar looks like it's mounted with the grips too low, relative to mine.

thanks kevin. here are some pictures i have taken for you at different angles. i think the handle bars need adjusting. iam comparing them with some pictures i found online. let me know what you think.
p.s. the last two pictures are ones i found online.

Fadel, looks like the right hand guard is rotated too high. The entire hand guard needs to be moved down. But the mirrors are on a ball adjustment, so you can point them down. It just takes a little effort to move them into place.

i see.

i want to point the mirrors up but i cant do that because it has reached maximum adjustment. like you say, if I rotate guard clockwise (looking at the first photo) i should be able to get the right angle.
but i think its the handle bar that needs adjusting. if you look at the brake fluid reservoir, its not level, its tilting at an angle forward. looking at photos online, it seems level. if you take a similar angle photo like the first one of your bike, what do you notice?

thanks dude.

The bracket under the reservoir is connected to the hand guard, so it all needs to be loosened and then rotated down. In the first picture of your post above, the side of the hand guard is angled up. Mine is angled down. It looks like your left hand guard is not too high, so I don't think it's a problem with the bar needing to be rotated, as much as it is just the right hand guard.

You were correct.

The handle bar was ok and didn't need adjusting
It's the hand guard which needed loosening
Also the clutch and brake leavers needed loosening. These are now at slight angle. Much more comfortable!
Thanks a lot. I also found one M25x10 screw missing!:cussing: I am looking for one but yet to find one. My dealer is a :jerkoff:

Also, how long does your battery last without charging? My bike wasn't used for two days and battery needs charging already. I know my dealer had problem with charging the battery so aim worried that it's had it and needs replacing.

Hey Fadel, glad you got your mirror issues straightened out (pun intended). :)

As far as the battery, here is a post I made regarding proper initiation of batteries. Unfortunately, if your dealer did not properly initiate the battery, it may never be good.

Says YTZ-10S on it, so I'd guess it's a generic Yuasa YTZ-10S. http://store.yuasabatteries.com/p/ytz10s

Just make sure that you initiate it properly and hopefully you'll get several years out of it.
