On Saturday I became the proud owner of a new F3 800 RC in the 75th Anni black/grey/red scheme. Had a quick ride yesterday and I'm completely in love after only 100miles. sublime handling and engine.. manic shrieking each time I used the blipper and QS and those brakes.. wow.. .
I'm coming from a 2007 Aprilia RSV1000R Factory in the black lion paint scheme, that is a fantastic fast road bike but feels really heavy to muscle about, even with the forged light weight wheels. Also I'm only 5'7 with 29" inseam which is mostly why I accepted a new machine was in order.
I'm technically very competent and worked hard to overcome many of the Ape's foibles, enjoying the excellent community knowledgebase that supports the Aprilia Twins. I hope the MV crowd is just as well informed and look forward to tuning the bike to my liking. it's a Euro4 model, so Zard headers are on order and I'm interested in the usual derestriction and removal of unnecessary parts, SAS, vapour etc. and ECU studio is already on my radar.
Looking forward to a new crowd and many more miles of fun.

Welcome. New owner here as well. For some reason, it doesn't show the photos on my end. I live in the US, but my brother lives in Wolverhampton, he moved there a couple of years ago, and opened a car service garage :)
Crazy small world..
Is he good? And what vehicle does he specialise with?
