My '06 910S has been up all winter just waiting for the chance to get out for a rip. Unfortunately, the low beam, high beam, and turn signals are not working after sitting for the winter. The fuses are good and I checked most of the connections to ensure they are not loose; still nothing. My obvious concern is that it is a major issue, but wanted to check for a fix here. The weather has been too nice to miss early season riding days. Does anybody know what might be causing this issue?

Thanks,
Mike

As diamond1 said, you will probably have to order a new one. The relays are sealed inside. I don't know of a way to test it buy perhaps one of the electrical gurus here will.

If you can find an spu to swap in, that would be one way to test it.

If you are in New Hampshire, ride down here some day and we'll borrow one from my bike.

You did check that the battery has a good charge, didn't you? I've had weird electrical things go on simply becasue of a weak battery...

I am picking up a new battery tomorrow, just to be safe. I spoke with the local MV dealership and they said to bring it in and they will try to get MV to cover it because it's been a known issue. I will update after I throw the new battery in. I never thought I'd say this, but thank god it's raining this weekend.

With 70+ degree weather here in NH, I decided to install the new battery I picked up. I was anticipating no changes other than the battery holding a charge better, and faster start up. Much to my surprise, the signals and headlight are working with the help of the fresh battery (thanks mroosk!). I was so happy that I could ride that I yelled in excitement; in turn, my wife came down stairs because she thought I had hurt myself. First ride of the season was great, plus now I don't have to drop 5 bills for a new SPU. Thanks to all for your help!
