I would say the neutral is tight compared to other rides. I went from a Yamaha R1 to the Rivale and neutral is a little harder to find. Just make sure the oil is a good synthetic and not a thick blend.
I had this issue (I think theres a thread in the B3 or F3 section about the transmission being tight) for a good 1500-2000 miles in addition to rough quickshifts. Once I struck 2000 miles everything started getting a lot better and neutral was just a touch from 1st. It did start to get better after the first oil change so Dons might be on to something about the oil.
Thanks for all the answers guys, I think you're all onto something, the clutch is the worst of any MV I have ridden, maybe it's just the cable operation that I've had to adjust twice as it keeps getting sloppy so it may be a disengaging issue but I have noticed it feels like it might be getting better the more I ride it. I am going to start on the hydraulic conversion soon, should make a big difference.
Fun bike though, perfect for pillioning, much more comfortable than the Brutale for 2 up.
Currently trying to adapt Rivale/Stradale handguards/indicators on my Turismo to get DRL additions at bar ends. Looking at the polarities of the Left and Right Indicators, it seems the positions of the colors wire are not the same between right and left. I would like to check if...
My wife just purchased a Stradale. She's been riding lots of different bikes for over 40 years and has been on her share of tall bikes. But at 5'2''the Stradale is just too tall even after reducing the preload, pulling forks up etc...
I see that Metisse GMBH in Germany makes shock dog bone...
I probably worry too much. I've had the bike less than a week. It has 2500 miles on it.
My dealer has ordered the parts for the TSB.
Should I park it and wait or is it OK to ride it?
Thanks for you thoughts.
I hate hate hate my Stradale seat and seems like this one would be a huge improvement.
Does anyone know of a US-based company that sell these?
Everything I've found is UK or Italy and shipping is a killer.
I even think it would be legal as there are Harleys and, I think, Triumphs that have two brake lights that double as turn sigs.
Any EE's in the house?
Could probably be a product people would buy. I know I would.
