Ive got the blue/silver F4 1+1 and what you have done looks brilliant! Would love to do the same to mine, so much better than the standard seat. How much alacantra did you actually need to do the job?

some more pics and answers to how it was done

ok
right

all the original blue crap was removed and used as templates
the rear seat blue bit was made slightly longer so it could be stitched into the grey vinyal and cover where the imitation seam bit was
decided to leave the grey as is as silver /grey alacantara i think would have been to much

even my wife likes this so much more she said goos choice
she hated the blue form the start and said it's like they couldn't be bothered and probaly bought the material from the local market when they ran out of black

it was a local upholster to me that did this that doesn't do bike seats as a rule to much of a pain he says
(he still used an old 1950's singer sowing machine lol)

i do have enough material left to do 3 full covers and pillion /pads
so if anyone wants to buy it feel free

i'll take £30 includin postage for each one to uk
but i'll take £35 if shipping around the world where ever you are

all you have to do is get it fitted

so heres some more pics outside today
