Here's one I personally haven't come across before. :green:

I stopped to re-fuel after the warning light had come on. I filled the tank and set off again but the orange light remained on. This happened yesterday and when I went out for a short ride this morning, the light remained on all the time. I topped up the fuel tank when the opportunity arose and the light still stayed on, however after a few miles it started to flicker and then went out.

It's obviously not a major problem and I presume the light is operated by a float switch or sensor in the tank somewhere. I just wondered if anyone else had come across the same fault?

Yes and yes once, a few weeks back. Just after we went to a mandatory ethanol mix of ~15%. Hasn't returned. I assumed sensor switch was stuck for a bit and dont' expect it to occur again.
