Had my 910 R decated a few weeks ago , with orignal Mv corse midpipe , ecu and cans.
Driving in town and small roads (no highway).
it used 17 liters on 147km , which means 11.5 liter :wtf:
My driving style is hmmm.... bang on most of the time :naughty::naughty:
Interested to know your bikes consumption.

Hi there,
I only recently picked mine up so was interested to know the consumption too. At the last refill, it used approximately 8 litres per 100 klm's (just over).
Mine is absolutely stock as far as the engine & pipes are concerned, cat still in place.
Sounds like better economy than yours, but is it good? I have no idea.

Maybe I need to stop fluffing around and really open her up some more!!!

As reported in earlier posts, mine - stock standard - did circa 300km on a tank on the open road at legal speeds, so between 6 and 7l per 100. Around town, mostly commuting in traffic, the fuel warning light comes on between 180 and 190km with 3 l still left in the tank, so about 8l per 100.
Will get it tuned soon, perhaps it's running too lean, although it feels pretty good.

This don't seem right,I don't think anyone has got 300km to a 19 litre tank. On a MV anyway.

No rubbish there, mate. I was as surprised as you are, having had a 750 Brute before which returned 200km to a tank at best. In fact, on that long trip with the 910R, I stopped every 200km to fuel up out of paranoia, only to have to put in 12 or 13l. There were long periods on that trip sitting on 5-6000rpm.
As I wrote, consuption is higher around town, more like 8l per 100km.
I run the 910R on 98 Octane fuel.
As I said, perhaps it's running lean which we'll check.

My 750 got around 150-160km per tank, after a short while I put in Brad Black's EPROM (and leaned the mixture trim at the same time as it was running rich) - it gets around 190 since.

The oil sheiks love the Brutales. They start grinning everytime one gets started. If you are worried about fuel consumption and saving tires from destruction I would not get a Brutale.

Started with 910s 2000K with mid pipe it did 180km to 190km untill warning 15l approx and had a bad flat spot. I got a 6000 service and they got ride of the flat spot but consumption changed 160km to 170km for 15l then I bought a race chip bike whent fast blew fuel smoke from pipe and at the worst I got 145km for 15l I took the bike to the local specialist who ballanced the throttle bodies and re adjusted the mixture scerw which is the little pot next to the eprom now the bike goes fast no smoke and 190 to 200km for 15l

910R, with race ECU. Before MV Course slipons - 170-180 kms to fuel light on - after MV Course slipons, PCIII addition, copied map - 160kms to fuel light on. (maybe its just that i like the noise more?)

I have yet to get a proper dyno PCIII map, but im told that this could decrease fuel consumption quite a bit.
