i have a pitbull front stand - the pin type that goes in the bottom of the lower triple clamp.

i checked with the pitbull web site, but mv is not listed (why am i not surprised).

anyone here know which pin can be used with the mv? specifically, i'm looking for the fitment to the f4 1000.

thanks,
alex

I have the same one I use it for my R1 .. but I dont think MV supports that stand... the ones Ive seen for MV (Iam looking to order one myself as well) it goes under the brake calipers like this

http://www.piratesk12site.net/MVfrontlift.htm
http://www.casoli.co.uk/products/casoliie.htm

but Ive seen better quality stands but the concept is the same

There is this one that claims it fits MV and it looks http://www.redracingparts.com/en/english.htm#english/motorbikesmotorcycles/productsandcomponents/frontstands.htm but I havent verified it

yeah, i've seen those as well.

i guess i'll just have to get under there and measure the hole diameter myself. also need to check the clearance to the front fender and the fork brace.

Is there a hole in the F4 clamp, cause there sure isn't on the Brutale? I have seen adapters that utilize a plate that grabs the underside of the lower-triple clamp, but not for pitbull.

ack! there is no hole.

hmmm...this is going to be more difficult.

(found this in the f4 750 service manual - maybe a pin or button like this one can be added to the pitbull?)
