Randy.. Try refreshing the link and attempt it again... It's well worth doing, as some of the picture transformation is amazing...
Help a bubba out. Still not working on my iPad. Is there another link?

Randy, there is a scroll bar on the right side of the photos to get to the next one....can you see that after your double cataract surgery (see Wife for Sale thread)?

When I used to be 'big into model making' I regularly got a magazine called....,"After the Battle then and Now".
Here is a link....https://www.afterthebattle.com/magazine/issues1-25.html
They also do a range of books as can be seen on their website.

It showed 'Then and Now' comparison photographs as per the link John posted..., dealing with many 'campaigns' during wartime.

Check it out at your newsagent..., it's excellent.

Great post John!

German world war 2 flak towers..

.
Have any of you guys ever seen the Flak Towers build by the Germans during World War2 ?

They're an amazing structure and have to behold to be appreciated..

If you ever get the chance to visit German or Austria, then put it on your list of things to visit.. They are still standing to this day in Berlin, Hamburg and Vienna..

It will blow you away.. Check it out on Google if you get a moment..

Here are some pics I took..

Germans certainly know all about Vorsprung durch Technik :)
