I put a set a R&G sliders on my 910R; got them from Pirate's Lair with fast delivery. I've read the posts on whether to mount at the engine bolt or not; in my opinion I'm good to go. Personally I've had great experience with the R&G frame sliders, but not on an MV so the mount was different.
The front swingarm sliders are a direct bolt on. The front fork sliders need to have the aluminum spacers machined down to fit the smaller axle on the new 910R forks.
In order to continue to use the OEM frame/engine mounting bolt and the R&G sliders I shortened the slider and the frame insert by approximately 3/8" (see the attached pic). I bought a 7mm bolt (50mm minumum, 55 mm optimal length) from a big Truevalue hardware and mounted the sliders in the same manner as the OEM frame plugs.
I also put on an Evo license plate relocator; cleans up the butt. I may still do something with the turn signals but right now I'm too busy riding the bike.
Hope this helps somebody who might be contemplating some sliders.
