I would like to ask for everyones help. After my little incident(if you haven't read it read "you will never guess what the F happened) I am seriously considering installing frame sliders(crash protectors). The only reason I did not is because it would require me to cut the plastic. I have a hard time seeing myself cutting the plastics but in light of todays incident I am now considering it. So I ask of the members for your honest opinion...


What do you think about the Silders(protectors)?

sliders could save you a lot of damage although some have said the front ones may damage the frame if you have an "off"

I have found i hit my knee on the rear ones now and then but no real problem I have R&G's

here is a pic of my slot in the fairing for the front ones

There are under-the-fairing sliders available from performaceparts.de that are also the safer and preferred 2-bolt system.
See my bike for pics of how they look on a Brutale; Installed on an F4 you wouldn't even see them.
