Engine frame and swingarm pivot.
Replace the nuts on the motor bracket with the frame sleeve that comes with the stand.
The stand usually comes preinstalled as an ordered item with a bike-specific adapter plate/pins.

The Pin slides into the customer installed frame adapter as the other pin slides into the swingarm pivot. Simple. Then lower the lift bar as the bike raises off the floor. Low and higher setting. Stable and rollable.

Interesting I've never seen I lift like that before. Kinda pricey for something that looks relatively simple.

actually haven't use the stand yet
meantime waiting on adapter for my 03' Tuono R coming from Germany
since my 910R sitting on the lyft there is no rush, but if someone has an adapter plate for it, I'll can buy it as well

spoke with Alex sounds like a nice fella, but unfortunately he doesn't provide adapter plates exchange program like Bursig does
