Hi Guys

I have several practually new F4 fuel tanks in stock that I wouldn’t mind selling off.

These are brand new and are NOT repainted used tanks.

Some of them still come with their original MV Agusta tank protectors still fitted as they left the factory.

Open to sensible offers, but no silly Fleebay type bids.. If you want a second hand previously tarted up painted tank, log onto Ebay.

To give you a ball park idea on costs, if you consider that to have a tank professionally painted and to use the original factory MV decals, you won’t get much change from £250... Here you are buying the complete tank in factory finish condition.

These are the following colours I have in stock..

2 x Red F4 750 and 1000S model .. ALL SOLD OUT

1 x Silver SOLD .. William in Scotland

1 x Matt Black ..SOLD.. Mat in New Zealand.

1 x SPR tank off my own 750, which has covered less than 250 miles from new. SOLD and DESPOSIT TAKEN..

I've also got the odd new airbox, but not many.

I’ve posted a picture of the silver tank, so you can see the type of quality and condition you can expect.

I can ship World wide.. Please remember that shipping nowadays isn’t cheap for bulky items and these will have to be shipped fully insured for compensation.

If you have any question, please feel free to email me.

Cheers

You posted the pics of the silver one just to mess with me huh?!?!?! :mouthwate
I wouldn't do that to you Joe :).

The truth is I'm too lazy to get the other packed away and boxed up fuel tanks out and the silver tank pictures I already had on file..

Once these tanks are gone, they're gone and I'm not getting anymore..

So if anyone what's to grab one for a spare to have in stock, this is your opportunity.

Cheers

John if you go to sell some of the really nice stuff. I hope you will let me know first.
Pm me a price on the SPR tank, I'm not sure if its worth shipping as I already have a spare tank and airbox to be painted, but its worth a shot as I have the whole rest of the kit new in boxes.

if you have a line on an SPR tail I would also be interested.

Will do Andrew... :)

The only things I can think of that you haven't already installed on your F4 is the alloy race tank ( but you have a carbon unit) and a titanium sub-frame..

Everything else you already have.. Can you think of anything on your wishlist ?

Andrew hasn't fitted a radiator bracket .. :bawling:

Yeah, I need to buy one of these off you to Joe.. Must get in touch soon...

This years plan is to restore both the Yamaha 1978 DT400E and IT250 and put them up for sale..

After that, start and finally finish putting together the F4 and then start restoration on my 1974 DT400B, which I want to keep.

Just out of interest I had a look at the performance of carbon fiber.

It's tensile strength is listed at much less than steel. Only a guide as I know very little about carbon fiber.

John,

Stop tempting me, I will end with a seconde bike made from all the parts you offer!

Joe, a carbon radiator support should be alright surely?
With the seperated weight load on two carbon supports, I know Randrew really wants you to make one and I may also have a set if you decide to get them manufactured.
I can't see the need to redesign what is a proven, easily fitted, attractive, slimline, light weight component in stainless steel for a piece of carbon which would be a very expensive path to take.

Each to their own of course. Dan there is only one Radiator support bracket required per bike.

Apologies to John as this is his thread ; )

Oi, guys, "For Sale " section.

Dan... If you're going to keep your MV, you can never have enough back up spares in stock... Just ask Joe and Donsy if you don't believe me :).

If you guys need any new OEM parts, give me a shout, as I still have quite a bit in stock ( not to many used parts, just a few odds and sods... Mark " Time Machines" or CAG are better for used stuff).

I want to off load ALL these OEM parts in the next 5 years, as we are downsizing our home and everything will have to go... Parts, spares, 99% of the bike collection, the lot will have to go....

So if you think of the odd OEM part you need, email me and I'll have a look.. ( filters, hoses, trim, seats, clips, screens, clip ons, foot rests, discs, fairings, locks, spare keys, MV Special Parts, Corse Parts,,:blah::blah::blah::blah:)... Most of the stuff I have is for the early F4 model and very little in the way of the later F4 model or Brutales.

Cheers
J

PS: Joe... If you wanted at a later date to get your Radiator support bracket manufactured in carbon, I can hook you up with a company that could produce it for you at minimal cost. Food for thought mate!
