Can anybody tell me if the engine and frame bearings in the above are, in general, "generic" type bearings as sold by bearing shops, or if the MV's are like some Japanese bikes and they have model specific specially manufactured bearings of unobtanium sizes except oem?

I'm quite familiar with working on Guzzi, Ducati, Laverda, but not MV. I thought I might buy this one and strip and reassemble it, which I have done many times on the other Italians.

You will find your MV is very easy to work on. Bearings are readily available, nothing unobtanium there. Have you downloaded you workshop manuals etc yet?

Are the bearings like mostly off the shelf skf, koyo, f.a.g ect like some of my other Italians?

Fixed up a F4 312RR (Avatar) a few years ago, most things like bearings are available at local bearing Co’s.
@Ghwallice Nice looking Brutale, your main cost is going to be te instruments an wiring I think.
