Just starting the process on my F4 1000 R.
So far ....I love it(Yes I have heat issues, especially in Brisbane. Have already purchased a couple of 1098 fans and am looking at Lee's solution)
The plan for the first mod was the catless midpipe. This is where I have found a snag. It appears I have the exhuast with the headers and the midpipe all welded up????:banghead:
I thought this was only on the case on the 312's & 1078's?

The bike is an R. It appears to have the 312 exhaust on it..
Can anyone tell me how do these exhausts repond with just a set of slip ons leaving the cat in place?

Some of the later R models had the midpipe welded on.
