Hi all,
I'm looking to buy a first generation f4 main frame in good condition with U.S. title. Where can I get one? what are some companies that might sell them? If I can't find one with a title, how hard/easy if it to get a title or register in the states? Any and all information would be great.
Thank you in advance.

I know somebody who has one. I bought it in USA and then didn't use it. The frame came with Florida Title documentation.

I sold it but I know the guy an he may ? sell it.

Wtf?

I love this shit.....

1st post "I need a clean frame and title"?????

really????

who would need a clean frame and title?????

only people I can think of are ones that don't have titles.....if you know what I mean, are thieves, or did I miss something???

I've been in this business for a long time and did work for lots of shops.......

Rule #1 don't you EVER send me something that is stolen to work on, I

will call the Police on you....then my friends will visit you.....

trust me, you would rather deal with the Police

Rule #2 don't EVER give my phone number or address TO ANYONE

Rule #3 don't ever come to my home or shop without calling in

advance......

didn't your parents teach you any manners?

want to walk up my stairs and bother me???????

bad idea :naughty:

Might be a good idea to ask the situation but I think you are jumping to conclusions. I remember in the past seeing quite a few track bikes listed on the WERA forum that didn't have titles. Anyway, if you just need a title then do this (I got a title for my dirt bike this way):

http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=655441

ETA: Should have mentioned this only works for small bikes (less than 300cc's) and bikes more than 15 years old.

I've been around this business a long time.....

real race bikes don't have titles......only street bikes do

would you venture a guess as to the percentage of street bikes purchased for the track and therefore do not have a title?

I personally know of very few...

this is why I pushed for a stolen bike registry with VIN and Engine

numbers

a major percentage of high end cars and SUVs are exported from SoCal

and never seen again

I would like to see every track day and race organization require ViN

and Engine numbers and run them through the "Hot Sheet"

guess how many stolen bikes would be at the track?:naughty:

its sort of like pistols in the US, stolen ones reported to the BATFE

never come off the list until found
