YES! I am happy. Started the purchasing of it in January, it was already at the dealership, just had to wait to get my whole licensing thing taken care of. I'm in the military in Germany, and they require you to take the MSF within a year before giving you your license, so I had to wait until this past week for the first MSF course to happen.
I would say the only sad part is, I drove it home from the dealership which was a 2 hour drive in 45f/7c degree weather, and the last 30 minutes it dropped to 36f/2c with some medium rain. I cried for my brand new bike. Once the weather gets nice again though, getting me off it is going to be nearly impossible.
Didn't get any pictures taken cause I was in a rush to leave the dealership to try and beat the rain as much as I possibly could.
In my 2 hours of riding though, I'd say the following:
The mirrors aren't as bad as I thought they would be. I'm a very narrow person so most of the mirror was looking at the right spot and was visible. The shake on my mirrors wasn't too bad. Objects in the distance were definitely affected, but closer to me where it really mattered, the mirrors worked just fine.
The suspension is a little bit on the stiff side, and I felt the bumps pretty good going down the road, think I'm going to go to the local MV Dealer that's just down the road and see about getting the suspension set up a little better.
The throttle is actually really nice. I come from a background of mainly doing dirtbikes, so I have to get used to not having a super twitchy throttle.
And OMG! Trying to find neutral, I had a problem at first because I've not had a bike before that required such a light touch to put it into neutral. It just kept wanting to jump past it. Part of the problem may be cause it was cold outside and so my motor skills weren't 100%.
And I loved it because, even though it was a 2 hour ride, and the weather was kind of miserable, it was the most enjoyable thing I have done in a long time, and that 2 hours flew by so fast, I was actually kind of sad when I actually got home. I wanted to go back out right away. But I don't want to be mean to her and make her suffer through such weather any more after my drive of bringing her home.
Once the weather clears up, I already have an evotech tail tidy and R&G Aero Frame Sliders to put on the bike too.
