Been "lurking" around this forum off and on for a while and finally decided to put my money where my mouth is & buy an F4.

A one year old blue & silver 1000S should be arriving next weekend :yo:

Anyone want a Ducati 999 :ahhh:

Congrats and don't forget to let us know whats you riding impression on the F4
So judging from the name and pic I'm guessing you have both a 999 & an MV?

Have you written down your opinions in comparison of them both anywhere?

Congrads. I trade my '05 999 for a '05 MV two months ago. I got a good deal but still took a hit...but have no regrets.

Are you sure you want to get rid of your 999? It may be tough with the 1098 coming

I picked up my 999 for an absolutel steal and don't think I'll lose any money. I bought it for maybe £1,000 below average prices in the UK and the F4 is also well below dealer and generally advertised prices.

I'm a bit of a veteran buyer & seller and haven't made too many big mistakes!

Although I spent way too much on adding parts to my last Aprilia. Bike itself held good value but the Ohlins & Oz stuff I fitted added little other than making it easier to sell.

congrats on the F4
welcome to the forum

you might have "stolen" that 999....
but, it isn't worth ANYTHING now
monday night, when the 1098 is OFFICIALLY introduced at 1900 Milan time......
new 999s will sell for 11.5 - 12K in the US
so....
act accordingly
IF you can keep it.... i would

as others have said.... would LOVE to see the pictures
Ah, who cares, hes got an MV now. Life is good! :highclap: Very good! If anything I'd make the 999 a dedicated track bike now.
