Hi all,

What is used to apply the metal mesh to the fairings? Bought some new ones (metal mesh) to add to the fairing I just bought, but don't know what the sticky stuff is called.

Thank you

I removed my meshes from the side fairings and tail exits
Just left it on the front air intakes.

I believe MV also did this to second generation bikes..

We do want the bikes to cool off don't we ; )

The exit airflow needs to be greater than inflow. Look at big propellor driven aeroplanes...Cowl flaps open in the climb.

The glue .Maybe a thick Superglue..Watch you don't get it on your fingers or you could end up wearing your bike as a fashion accessory!

The cowl flaps open promote more airflow through the already unrestricted front of the cowling through the cowl then out the back, you would need to remove the front mesh also to get the most efficiency.

Agreed , but I'm referring to leaving the mesh on the intakes to the velocity stacks alone and not to the airflow over the motor : )

Joe, do you see a problem in taking the front mesh out? I am replacing the OEM ones with a gold mash, but without it would even be better...
