this morning the sun was shining and I jumped out of bed to get a few houres on the bike.. but when I turned off the alarm, and put the ignition on, nothing, dead... no display, no starter...
after checking and charging the battery, still nothing...
so I went to datatools page and found the way to reset the alarm and imobilizer (it tok 6 houres!)

after, charging the battery, resetting the alarm, still nothing... absolutley dead..

so now I need some help.. the bike is a 01 F4s 750.

the alarm goes on and off like usual, and all seems fine...
expet for the starting part...

oh, and btw, the battery measures 12,8v so it should be fine.. atleast give a little blipp in the display

not the kill switch unless it is a secret kgb switch installed somewhere... and if the regular killswitch was on, the ignition would still turn...

I will go out and check the main fuse now...

nope.. not the fuse..

the fuses are ok, and yes, i can probe for power with a multimeter.... but if all the fuses are ok then it should not be a problem?

the indicators flash when I turn the alarm on and off... so everything with the alarm seems ok... but maybe the imobilizer has stuck? or something...

It may be the immobiliser but I'd expect the immobiliser to be tied into just the start/run circuit rather than any sort of ignition or general power circuit. If it were the immobiliser I'd still expect the ignition, lights etc.. to power up. That's not to say that yours isn't perhaps wired in differently from what I would consider the 'norm'.

If you suspect the immobiliser then you're going to have to trace the alarm/immobiliser wiring and work out exactly were it cuts into the various circuits to be able to diagnose it properly.

It may also be worth checking the ignition switch feed and it's out to the general relay.

I hate alarms....
if i forget to turn of the alarm, the ignition still turns on.. but the fuel pump does not prime and starter does not turn...
but all the dash and lights work...
and all of this happended over night, no problems earlyer... just this.. bollocs..
looks like I have to get it to the shops and rip out the alarm...

Sounds to me like your alarm is tied into the kill switch circuit and starter motor relay coil. If that's the case I would think it highly unlikely that an alarm/immobiliser fault would cause total loss of power.

Obviously difficult to say without seeing the bike but I'd suspect if you have no power to anything at all then the problem is probably more likely to be related to the ignition switch (or power to/from it) or the 'general' relay.

finaly!
they found the error... it was broken wires.. an mv design flaw they say.. a connection has gotten wet and broken after a while..
so now everything is up and running! and the alarm is removed...
all I have to do now is wait for the summer to come..

Yes they can do as the alarm will take it's power to flash them direct from the battery - it will be hooked into the indicator circuits without needing to go through the ignition switch, so it can flash them when the bike is turned off.

If it was an old Honda I would recomend checking your main earth connection - it's the heavy cable to the back of the altinator, it's bolted up to the engine alloy which as you know tends to furr up.
