Pretty confusing to read if you don't know all the guys, but the end results are still good.

PRESS RELEASE

Team Liqui Moly MV Racing - Rd #3 SA Supersport Championships @ Aldo Scribante – Port Elizabeth

6th April 2013 Port Elizabeth at Aldo Scribante race track, Liqui Moly MV Racing gathered valuable points in the race for the South African Supersport championship.
...
Practice: The second coastal race in a row brought its own challenges for the Anassis racing prepared MV F3’s and its riders Cam Petersen and Brent Harran. Especially Brent was struggling most of Friday’s practice with handling issues which required special attention of the teams’ suspension specialist Martin Paetzold from MP Custom Valve. Problems seems to be resolved when Brent managed in the last timed session to set the second fastest time ahead of championship leader Cam Petersen.

Qualifying : Saturday qualifying was a diverse and a first sign of close racing when Cam claimed P3 and pole positions for each race with Brent positioning himself on P4 for both heats. While the confidence of Cam was firmly established, Brent remained troubled over his handling matters, especially in the faster sectors of the Aldo racetrack.

Race 1: A rollercoaster spectacle in front of an exhilarated crowd. The top three bikes crossed the line with only point three of a second separating them. It was World SS Championship contender Sheridan Morias making a surprise entry on the grid who finished in P1 , Isaacs in P2, Cam had a bad start and that made it a tough first race for the Liqui Moly MV championship leader. He was followed by Brent Harran in P4.

Race 2: Before the second race the team had a thorough look over Brent’s MV F3 while Cam’s machine was virtually untouched. With Cam having the pole position advantage, the team was confident for a good result especially since Cam was able to preserve his new Pirelli tires the best of the leading pack after race 1. The race was yet another top draw performance from the Liqui Moly MV squad. Cam Petersen crossed the line in second after a hard fought battle with his former team mate Isaacs who crashed out on lap 10 and Sheridan Morais who crossed the line half a bike length in front of Cam. Brent Harran ended the day in third positions overall.

For the first time this season the MV team returned home without a victory but with a very strategic gathering of valuable points which resulted in an extended lead for championship leader Cam Petersen to 25 points and Brent Harran was able to climb up to fourth overall in the standings. Experienced racer and team principle Brad Anassis knows that this is a major step towards a potential championship. The team heads towards the half way marker of the season with the fourth round coming up at the home town track in Pretoria at Zwartkops in 4 weeks time.

Anassis thanked, Liqui Moly and MV Cayenne, MP Suspension, Insurance Zone, Race!, Dynojet, NGK, RK Chain, Pirelli, SPY, Racer Zone, UD Middleburg, HJC, 3M, Lazarus Ford and also Mike from FS Truck for the transporter.

Nice pics there Donsy. Bit disappointed to see them using the arrow, but I guess there aren't many options yet.

You'd have to be dead not to find the F3 a sexy proposition in motion.
