I think you´re right about´giving more view´, and I´ve always thought that they look better than the standard ones. It´s a perfect fit, I don´t think you have to worry about having more view, because by the lenght of the mirror, in comparison with the original, you can see it´s longer. And lines are more modern too, which is nice :mouthwate

By the way, I saw you haven´t got any bike registered on your profile. If you have an F4, you should do it. And welcome to the forum! :yo:

Don't believe anyone has done this swap due to the bases not being the same. This idea came up when the F3's were first released. Lots of people, myself included, wanted to swap the F3's OEM black plastic mirrors for a factory painted pair off an F4. It was determined that the fairings' curvatures were too dissimilar for a proper fit, even if the bolt hole centers were the same. Plus, the F4's use LED turn signals whereas the F3 did/do not.

Good to know that, Stephen, thank you. But Donsy´s idea on the 2nd generation mirrors on Andrew´s F4 looks like it works great. Curious to know if it works. But I would miss the chicken-wing technique :)
